    S A T U R D A Y    The Conception Bay CeeBee Stars defeated Southern Shore Brealers 5-3 in Avalon East play Saturday night. The loss by the Shore will see them seeded third for the playoff run. Five players shared in the scoring for the winners. Kenny King, Matthew Thomey, Andrew Fenwick, Robert Slaney and Daniel Sparkes netted the goals while A.J.     There is a major dart tournament on at the C-L-B on Harvey Road . The Newfoundland and Labrador Winter Classic is on. Two big names will be playing in the tournament. John Norman of Shea Heights who recently got his pro ranking will be entered. Norman will be in action Sunday as the singles competition starts at 11 o clock. MONTREAL, Quebec:  For the first time since 2008 Newfoundland climbers will be going to the Canadian National Youth Bouldering Championships in Vancouver next month. Erinn Locke, age 16 and Lily Dubrowski, age 14, members of the Newfoundland Junior Climbing Team qualified for the Under 19 nationals at the Quebec Climbing Federation (FQME) Coupe Quebec provincial championships January 21-22 in Montreal. Both finished the qualifying round in 4th place with Dubrowski coming 4th in finals and Locke 6th.  Enough to earn them a spot at the nationals.     West Coast senior hockey could be a reality in March. Officials on the west coast have plans in place for four teams to play in what is being called ” an amateur league” Corner Brook, Deer Lake, Stephenville and Port aux Basques would be the centers playing.
