    Andrew Symonds and his rink of Mark Healy, Dave Noftall and Keith Jewer claimed the 2017 provincial Travelers championship Sunday in Corner Brook. The Symonds team defeated Bas Buckle and did it the hard way scoring two in the eighth end for the win. Symonds will now head to Kingston Ontario  for the Nationals November 20th to 25th.
