  23 year old Brandon Hynes, a native of Norris Point continues to lead the Central West Hockey League scoring race at the half way point of the season. Norris, who is with the Corner Brook Royals, has 15 goals and 12 assists in 14 games for the Royals for 27 points. The St. John’s Junior Hockey League game at the Bay Arena scheduled for Friday night has been postponed because of a fire at the Arena.The Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals were to play the CBN Jr Stars.
