  Montreal Canadiens have traded St. John’s Ice Cap’s goaltender Dustin Tokarski to the Anaheim Mighhty Ducks. In exchange they get left winger Max Friberg from the Anaheim Ducks. Friberg will join the IceCaps in St. John’s. Friberg, 23, has served two penalty minutes in six career NHL games with the Ducks. He has added 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists) in 25 games with the AHL’s San Diego Gulls thus far this season. British Columbia Bears, Prairie Wolf Pack, Ontario Blues and Atlantic Rock will be the teams competing for the title. Each team plays four games.
