    S U N D A Y    The Cataracts clinched first place in the Central/West Senior Hockey League Sunday as they downed the Corner Brook Royals 9-1 in Corner Brook. Steve Yetman was the offensive leader for the Cataracts scoring three times in the clinching game for the Cataracts. Andre Gill chipped in with two goals with the remaining goals coming from Luke Gallant, Cam Fergus, Sam Hounsell and Danny Wicks. The Clarenville Caribous have announced they have appointed the first female senior hockey league coach. Rebecca Russell, who has been an assistant coach with the team, was named the head coach Tuesday by General Manager Ivan Hapgood. Russell takes over from Hapgood who was bench coach after it was decided that coach Dustin Russell would return as a full time player with the Caribous.
