MAJOR MIDGET HOCKEY AWARDS
The Provincial Major Midget Hockey League presented its end of regular season awards this weekend. Goaltender MacKenzie Janes of the St. John’s Maple Leafs was the top goaltender with a 2.16 goals against average in 26 games. Kyle McGrath of the Maple Leafs won the league individual scoring race. He played in 32 games and scored 22 goals and added 35 assists for 57 points . The League Most Valuable Player award went to Jalen Gillard of the Western Kings.
