  Edmonton Oilers forward Teddy Purcell is an unrestricted free agent come July, but the St. John’s, Newfoundland native thinks he might be on his way out of Edmonton sooner. “Am I concerned about the trade deadline? If I said no, that would be a lie,” Purcell told the Edmonton Journal’s Jim Matheson. “It’s always in the back of your head but I’m a pretty laid-back guy, somebody who’s been around enough to control the highs and lows.     Stacie Curtis and her Nfld and Labrador rink won both games they played at the 2016 Scotties. Curtis scored one in the 10th end and came from beind and edged Ontario 5-4. Curtis was down at one point in that game 4-2. Deuces were wild in her game with British Columbia as she scored twice in the first, second fourth ,sixth and tenth ends for a 10-7 decision over British Columbia. They win the best of seven series four games to none.       The St. John’s Maple Leafs have taking a commanding three games to none lead in their Major Midget Hockey League semi-final series with Central Ice Pak.
