SOFTBALL PLAYERS OF THE MONTH FOR JULY

    The St. John’s Senior Men’s Fastpitch Softball League has named their player of the month for July.   Kenny Gosse of the NTV Hitmen had a great month. He played in seven league games had 13 hits in 25 plate appearances for a .520 batting average. He scored nine runs had one double and one home run and eight runs batted in.   Gosse helped his team come away with five wins and three losses in the league play.   In a game on July 21st Gosse went five for five in a game against Kelly’s Pub Junior…

Westside Monarchs defeated Wingin It Marlins 12-5 in Corner Brook senior baseball play on Tuesday night at Jubilee Field.
