  S A T U R D A Y    Three point nights from Charles Hudon and Nikita Scherbak earned the St. John’s IceCaps a 4-3 win over the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Saturday night. BOLAND NAMED CHL PLAYER OF WEEK

    The Canadian Hockey League has announced that QMJHL Top Scorer Tyler Boland of the Rimouski Oceanic is the CHL Player of the Week for the week ending January 29 after scoring three goals and nine assists for 12 points in three games with a plus-minus rating of plus-6. Boland extended his personal point-streak to 10 games and opened an 11-point spread atop the scoring race while helping the Oceanic earn a trio of victories last week.
