    Liam Hynes has won the scoring championship in the St John’s Junior Hockey League. The Southern Shore Breakers forward finished the season with 58 points from 27 goals and 31 assists in 28 games. Andrew Paul of Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals finished second with 45 points. He had 28 goals and 17 assists in his 28 games.…

        S U N D A Y    The Southern Shore Breakers have forced a seventh and deciding game in their semi final series with Northeast Eagles in Avalon East senior hockey semi finals. Game six in this series went into double overtime before Daniel Dalton connected with the winner to give the Breakers the 3-2 victory over the Eagles.
