The Growlers had a win and a loss on their first road trip of the season. They won 4-1 over Manchester Saturday. Derrian Plouffe, Marcus Power, Scott Pooley and Giorgio Estephan with the Growler goals. Sunday Maine came back with three third period goals and doubled the Growlers 4-2. Marcus Power and Ryan Moore had the goals for the Growlers. The Growlers are now 3-3 on the season. They play again Wednesday against Reading Royals.…
Memorial Sea Hawks women’s soccer team had a tie and a loss this weekend. Sunday Memorial played to a scoreless tie with Moncton. Sydney Walsh had the shutout. On Saturday Memorial fell 2-1 to U-N-B. Terri Murphy had the Memorial goal. Memorial record is 3-3-3.Their season concludes next weekend at home. The men’s team lost twice this weekend.
