  The St. John’s Edge began their training camp  Monday  in St. John’s with players arriving throughout. They will be travelling to Grand-Falls Windsor for the bulk of camp beginning on Saturday and concluding on Tuesday November 9th.   EDGE SIGN NEW PLAYER The St. John’s Edge announced have signed Monmouth Junction, New Jersey native Jared Nickens for the 2018-19 season. The Newfoundland Growlers continued the win one, lose one trend Tuesday evening with a 5-1 loss to the Adirondack Thunder in Glens Falls, New York Adirondack opened the scoring at the 6:00 minute mark of the first period as Peter MacAuther tucked the puck just over the shoulder of Growlers goaltender Michael Garteig, who was making his 8th start of the season. MUN AT AUS CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

  Memorial Athletes competed in the AUS Cross Country running championships Saturday. Hannah Cooke  was the Memorial top Female performer in the 8k event as she placed 21st in 33:08. Danielle Seviour was 27th with a time of 33:28 and Katrina Lynn Picco was 29th in 34:22. On the male side Levi Moulton was the top MUN performer in the 10K race finishing 10th in 33:22.
