  The West Coast Senior Hockey League is now down to three teams this season. The defending champions Deer Lake Red Wings won’t be returning.  The Red Wings made the following statement today “The Deer Lake Red Wings are sad to announce that we will not be taking part in the upcoming 2018/2019 season.         The St. John’s Edge unveiled the uniforms they will wear for the 2018-19 season at Holy Heart of Mary High School on Friday evening. The team unveiled both a white (home) and blue (away) uniform. The Edge have decided to go with Nike as the brand for this year’s uniforms, the custom look features a sleek blue and white design down the side of the jersey and onto the shorts, with the Nike logo featured prominently on the right of the jersey and the top left of the shorts.   S A T U R D A Y Game Story The Newfoundland Growlers earned their first back-to-back wins in franchise history Saturday night with a 5-3 decision over the Worcester Railers.
