  Sydney Walsh is the Memorial female athlete of the week. She had two strong performances in the 2018 AUS Soccer Championships. Walsh earned a shutout in the  Sea-Hawks quarter final victory over Dalhousie. He also had a 15 save performance in the team’s loss to Cape Breton. Nathan Barker is the Memorial male athlete of the week. Barker scored 30 points and had six rebounds in the team’s Saturday night loss to the PEI Panthers.In the team’s second game he had a 17 point performance and also had 11 rebounds.…

S A T U R D A Y Michael Garteig stopped all 44 shots he faced as the Growlers shut out the Manchester Monarchs 3-0 to extend their winning streak to six games Saturday night at Mile One Centre.
