This past week she averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 steals in the Sea-Hawks weekend sweep of the Saint Mary’s Huskies. It’s a good news bad news day for the Newfoundland Growlers. The good news is the teams top scorers have been called up by the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. The bad news is they probably won’t be playing this weekend for the Growlers. Brady Ferguson and Giorgio Estephan were called up to the AHL squad. The Memorial men’s basketball team is 0-3 on the season but a Memorial player is leading the AUS Men’s basketball conference in scoring, Nathan Barker has played three games and is averaging 26 points per game. On the women’s side Memorial has a 2-2 record and Sydney Ezekiel leads the Memorial team in scoring averaging 16.8 points per game.
