Game on Gear has evened their St. John’s Intermediate Softball quarter-final series with Bay Roberts Coors Light at a game apiece. Game on Gear came away with a 5-4 extra inning victory on Friday night. Here is how the winning run was scored. Aces have advanced to the finals of the Corner Brook senior baseball setup. The Aces scored six runs in the sixth inning and go on to a 7-1 win over Marlins and take the best of five series in straight games.   They now await the winner of the Monarchs Hawks series which the Monarchs lead two games to one.   Hawks remained alive in their Corner Brook senior baseball semi-final baseball series. The Hawks came from behind to get a 5-4 win in 11 innings.  Monarchs still lead the best of five series two games to one.     NTV Hitmen beat the Bigs 9-1 in a St Johns senior men’s fast pitch semi-final game Thursday night .  That best of five series is now tied at a game apiece.
