    Two games were played in St. John’s intermediate Baseball Friday. Holy Cross edged Shamrocks 5-4. Andrew Janes in relief of starter Alex Griffin gets the win. Mattyh Murphy who came on in relief of starter Dylan MacKenzie is tagged with the loss. Vinny Grace of Holy Cross was the games top batter with three hits in five plate appearances. Josh Langmead of the Shamrocks was his teams top batter with two hits.   In another game Gonzaga shutout Storm 10-0 in a game called after five innings by the league mercy rule.   NTV Hitmen and Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs will play for the 2015 St. John’s Senior men’s fast pitch softball championship. Both teams came up with victories Thursday night to win their respective series three games to one. NTV Hitmen won their series three games to one over The Big’s with a six inning 9-2 decision. Robbie Green tosses the win in this contest allowing just four hits walking two and fanning nine.       A gentleman who has been synonymous with baseball in St. John’s played his last game as a player with Shamrocks Thursday September 17th, 2015 at St. Pat’s Ball Park. Gulliver, who is a little over fifty years of age called it a career with the team he started his playing career with in senior the Shamrocks.   Roebothan, McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings finished their regular season in St. John’s Senior Baseball on a winning note Thursday night. The Vikings defeated Shamrocks 8-2. Matthew Peterson gets the win. He goes five innings allowing two runs on four hits. Tyler Vincent came in relief and finished up. Bob Kent started for the Shamrocks and takes the loss.     Hawks have taken a one game to nothing lead in the Corner Brook senior baseball best of seven final series. Hawks trailing 2-1 after three innings scored two runs in the fourth and sixth innings for a 5-2 decision over Aces. Matt Colbourne goes the distance to get the win. He allowed two runs on five hits.
