The Clarenville Caribous of the Provincial Senior A hockey League have signed two Newfoundlanders to their team for the upcoming season. The team says they have signed Norman’s Cove natives Kevin and Mason Reid. Mason played 21 games with the Northeast Eagles and and had 19 goals and 26 assists for 45 points. Kevin played 19 games and scored 13 goals and 23 assists last season.…
The Avalon East Senior Hockey League begins it’s 2015-16 season on Friday October 23rd at the Jack Byrne Arena. The opening game features the Conception Bay CeeBee Stars against the Northeast Eagles. There are two games slated for Saturday October 24th. At 7:30 at the S.W. Moores Memorial Sradium in Harbour Grace, the CeeBee Stars play host to the defending champions Southern Shore Breakers.
