  Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs 6–The Bigs 3 Kellys Pub Molson Bulldogs won the St John’s senior men’s fast pitch softball title last night. They defeated The Bigs 6-3 to win the best of seven final four games to one. They win their fourth straight senior softball title. Sean Cleary the playoff most valuable player tosses the win on a five hitter and 15 strikeouts. Stephen Strapp belted a two run homer for the winners. MASTERS “B” SOCCER CHAMPS DECLARED

    78 FC Secunda won the provincial Masters “B” soccer championship Sunday in St. Lawrence. They defeated Century 21 3-2 in the championship game.   John Hogan led the winners offensive attack with two goals and Tom Hall added a single.   Ian Duffett and Sean Snook replied for the losers.   Tom Foran of 78 SC Secunda was named the tournament’s most valuable player and Bill Lundrigan of Century 21 was named the most spirited player.  …

            Shamrocks won the 2016 St. John’s senior baseball championship on Thursday night with a 4-3 come from behind win over two time defending champions Roebothan McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings. They win the best of seven final four games to two. The Shamrocks scored the game winning run in the bottom of the seventh.
