    Kyle Ezekiel of the Dance Academy Dodgers was named the most valuable player in the St. John’s senior men’s fast pitch softball league for the past season.  Ezekiel played in 18 games this season and had a .491 batting average.       The Northeast Eagles have made a trade with the St. John’s Caps. The Eagles acquired  defenseman Doug O’Brien, who had been the Caps 1st round draft pick in the first 2016/17 AESHL Entry Draft.   In return, the Caps acquired the rights to players Mitch Flynn, Brandon Kalbfleisch and the Eagles first round picks .     The Avalon East Senior Hockey League will start it’s 50th season this Friday night.
