      ACW Law handed M5 just their fourth loss of the season in Metro Basketball play as they beat M5 51-39. Leon Peddle the big man in this game with 20 points for the winners. Paul Morgan added 14. Mike Fudge had 16 points for the losers. Sundance improved to 10-5 as they handed Fougere Menchenton their 13th loss of the season with a 45-37 victory. MULLOWNEY TO LEAVE ICE CAPS

    The St. John’s IceCaps announced that Rob Mullowney, Vice President, Operations for the club, will be leaving organization to take a senior management position with the new American Hockey League (AHL) franchise in Belleville, Ontario. While the new Belleville entry – which will serve as the Ottawa Senators AHL affiliate – does not take to the ice until the Fall of 2017, Mullowney will join the organization in January.
