McDonald improves to 6-0. Coastal Chiropractic skipped by Matthew Smith wins his second game against four losses defeating Ken Bavis and his Technip squad 10-6. Davis falls to 1-5.     The Southern Shore Breakers extended their undefeated streak to three straight games with a 2-1 win over St John’s Caps on Monday night at the Mobile Arena. Goaltender Devin O’Brien was instrumental in the win as he made 49 saves over the 60 minutes. Jeremy Nicholas and Dylan Sheldon had the goals for the Shore. Mark Rideout had the Caps goal.     SportNL has concluded it’s annual meeting in St. John’s. Doug Fowler was elected president of the provincial sports governing body. Chris Schwartz is the vice-president and Peter O’Flaherty is the second vice president.  Two directors elected are Tom Godden and Gary Martin.       A Newfoundland runner is turning heads not only in Canada but also in the United States. 21 year Jillian Forsey who hails from Kippens had a brilliant race this weekend at the NCAA Mid Atlantic Regional Cross Country final at Penn State. Forsey covered the six kilometer hilly course in 20 minutes and nine seconds which saw her finish second. This performance qualifies the University of West Virginia  standout for a place in the NCAA final next weekend.…
