GROWERS OUT OF MILE ONE  ST. JOHN’S, Newfoundland – The Growlers ECHL hockey team and their  owner, Deacon Sports and Entertainment have been locked out of Mary Brown Centre (formerly Mile One Centre) by the City of St John’s for what they call “disrespectful workplace conduct” by Deacon Sports employees towards centre staff who are employee of St John’s Sports and Entertainment, a corporation of the City of St John’s. ST. JOHN’S – Known as the toughest road race in North America the Orange Theory Cape To Cabot was won today by Michael Kondro in a time of 1:21:27. The 20km course winds its way from Cape Spear to Cabot Tower in Signal Hill. The 2021/22 ReMaxSuper League curling is set to go at the ReMax Center in St John’s on Tuesday, Oct 12 at 6:00pm with 14 teams this year. Games will be played Tuesdays with extra games the following Sunday.
