    S A T U R D A Y   The Growlers get their 41st win of the season in the 12th round of the shootout as Garrett Johnston scored the winner to give the Growlers the 3-2 win over the Reading Royals.   The Reading Royals opened the scoring for the second straight night as Matt Pohlkamp beat goalie Eamon McAdam on a rebound that eventually found its way under McAdam’s leg pad and into the net.   The second period contained the rest of the regulation scoring for the game as both teams traded goals.   S A T U R D A Y   The west coast senior hockey best of seven final series is now tied at two games apiece.   The trend continues as the visiting team continues to win games in their series.     Two teams are undefeated at the provincial men’s Travelers curling event in Stephenville.   Rod Feltham is 2-0 after an 8-1 win over Kenny Young and he defeated Todd White 11-3.   Jonathan Brenton won twice defeating Don Hawco 3-2 and Todd White 7-1.   Michael Mullins win 10-3 over Young and then lost to Dave Thomas 7-5.   The Travelers women’s play starts Thursday at 9:30   Susan Curtis of Corner Brook faces Erin Porter of the Caribous Club.
