A Mount Pearl native have been named a pitching coach with Bossier Parish County College baseball team. Andrew Mercer begins his first season on coach Bobby Gilliam’s coaching staff. He will handle the Cavaliers pitching staff. Mercer comes to BPCC after serving as an assistant coach for two seasons at Central Methodist University, a nationally-ranked NAIA school in Fayette, Missouri.
