TAVENOR WINS CB BASEBALL BATTING TITLE

The Corner Brook senior baseball season ended Monday as the Hawks beat the Aces for the title.

And statistics released by the league show that Michael Tavenor of the Aces won the batting title for this season. He finished with a .524 average from 22 hits in 42 plate appearances.

Teammate Brian Bennett was second with a .500 average from 29 hits in 58 at bats
