  Some new information has come forward regarding the Growlers and St. John’s Sports and Entertainment. According to Growlers owner Dean MacDonald he says “ We actually signed an agreement with the City last year to take over management of the facility. That’s what we thought we were getting into.” The question then posed to MacDonald was “ Did the City sign that agreement as well” MacDonald’s reply was “ Yes” So one would presume it’s a signed agreement and going ahead as signed.  However MacDonald answers “ No. City reneged.” So both parties signed an agreement. The Owner of the hockey team Dean MacDonald , has confirmed for THE SPORTSPAGE,  he has a news conference set for Tuesday  to discuss the future of the hockey team.
