  S U N D A Y Because of the pending snow storm the East Coast Senior Hockey League has postponed Sunday’s games Between the St Johns Caps and Clarenville Caribous and the CeeBee Stars and Southern Shore. T U E S D A Y Make it 12 wins on home ice in a row for the Growlers and they take four points from visiting Worcester.  Zack O’Brien scores just 24 seconds into overtime to give the Growlers their 4-3 win and 12th in a row at Mile One.  Marcus Power sniped his 17th of the season and JustinBrazeau and Court Conrad added the other singles. INTERNATIONAL GIRLS HOCKEY GAME SET FOR MILE ONE

Hockey NL, in partnership with Hockey Canada and the Hockey Canada Foundation, will be hosting the 2020 Global Girls’ Game in co-operation with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Global Girls’ Game will take place in St. John’s, NL, 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8th, at the Mile One Center. 16 female players from across Newfoundland and Labrador have been selected to represent Hockey NL and Canada.
