  The St. John’s Edge have made their first roster move of the 2019-2020 season. The Edge have resigned Olu Ashaolu, who has been signed as the IR Designate for Murphy Burnatowsi. Burnatowski sustained a knee injury during the December 31st game in PEI and will be sidelined for the next 6-8 weeks. Asaholu returns to the Edge after playing in 28 games last season, Ashaolu had averages of 10.5 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 57.0% from the field.     Deng Ring is the Memorial male athlete of the week. Ring led the Hawks in points on Saturday with 19. He also added seven rebounds and two assists. On Sunday Ring topped his Saturday point total with 20, while adding 16 rebounds and one assist.      Alana Short is the Memorial female athlete of the week. Short finished Saturday’s 86-72 victory with 18 points to go along with 10 rebounds and two assists. She  went on to end the weekend with another strong performance, adding 23 points, five rebounds and one block.…
