GUSHUE LOSES IN SEMIS
It’s his first series back as skip of the curling team and Brad Gushue led his team to the semi finals. Brad Gushue has missed the first eight events of the season with a groin and hip injury but returned to skip his team at the men’s curling event in Sault Ste Marie this week. Reid Carruthers defeated Team Gushue Sunday to win the men’s 2016 Canada Cup champion. GUSHUE OUT TILL NEW YEAR
Newfoundland curler Brad Gushue won’t be back on the ice very soon. Gushue’s recovery from an injury is taking longer than expected and he may not be back with the team until sometime in the New Year. Gushue is continuing his rehab on a tricky set of muscles in his left hip and groin area. Gushue does admit he isn’t in any pain. He will not be with the team at this week’s Grand Slam of Curling in Cranbrook BC. Mark Nichols has been skipping the team.…
