Three games were played in Bally Haly Super League Curling Tuesday night. Toby McDonald and his rink improved to 8-2 on the season with an 8-2 win over Gary Perry. Nei;l Jacobs is now 6-4 as he beat Julia Pitcher 9-6. Pitcher is still winless in ten games. And Bill Jenkins record is now 7-2 thanks to a 7-1 win over Ken Bavis who falls to 2-8. Andrew Symonds and his rink of Mark Healy, Dave Noftall and Keith Jewer claimed the 2017 provincial Travelers championship Sunday in Corner Brook. The Symonds team defeated Bas Buckle and did it the hard way scoring two in the eighth end for the win. Symonds will now head to Kingston Ontario for the Nationals November 20th to 25th. Greg Blyde and his rink of third Liam Gregory, Second Ian Withycombe and lead Connor Stapleton are the provincial junior men’s curling champions. Blyde and his rink defeated two time defending champion Greg Smith 11-4 in the final game. Blyde’s rink scored five in the fourth end to put this one away.
