Cam Fergus of the first place Grand Falls Windsor Cataracts was a double award winner as the Central West Senior Hockey League announced its regular season award winners Sunday. Fergus was named the league’s Most Valuable Player for the Regular season. He also won the league’s individual scoring championship. Fergus played 19 of his teams 22 games this season. He scored 23 goals and added 24 assists for 37 points and the scoring title. Luke Gallant also of the Cataracts was named the league’s top defenceman. Four players from the Brampton Beast of the East Coast Hockey League have been sent back up to the St. John’s Ice Caps just in time for their weekend series with Utica. Forwards Tim Bozon, Brandon McNally, Angelo Miceli and defenceman Dalton Thrower to the Ice Caps from the Brampton Beast of the ECHL.
