  St. Lawrence Laurentians made it a sweep of their series against Corner Brook this weekend in Challenge Cup Soccer play.   Saturday the Laurentians were 3-0 winners. Sean Drew, Evan Myles,  and Stefan Slaney were the goal scorers. John Douglas got the shutout.   Sunday the Laurentians came away with a 4-1 win. Stefan Slaney tallied three times for the winners and Sean Drew added a single. Lyde Griffin had the Corner Brook goal.   In another game Holy Cross and Mount Pearl played to a scoreless tie.   The Dance Academy Dodgers 10 — NTV Hitmen 3 The Dance Academy Dodgers won the 36th annual St. John’s Day Fastpitch Softball tournament Sunday beating NTV Hitmen 10-3 in the final game. Jason Hill  who was named the MVP of this tournament and also won the batting title, was the winning pitcher in the final game. Hill allowed five hits walked three and fanned eight in the final game.
