    S A T U R D A Y    Josh Taylor scored three goals and Corner Brook Royals won their 12th game of the season beating last place Stephenville Jets 10-4. Jeremy Bishop and Luke Pilgram scored two goals each. MUN BASKETBALL TEAMS LOSE TWICE TO ACADIA

  Acadia Axwomen took both games from Memorial SeaHawks in AUS women’s basketball play this weekend. Acadia won 90-79 Sunday to go along with their 91-69 win Saturday. Acadia is now 13-1 on the season and Memorial is even at 7-7. The Memorial SeaHawks men’s basketball team also lost twice to Acadia. Sunday Acadia won 78-65 to go along with an 89-65 win Saturday.     S U N D A Y    First place Mount Pearl Blades improved to 20-1 in the season with a 7-1 decision over Trinity Placentia Flyers Sunday. The Blades fired 41 shots on goal in this contest.
