    St. John’s Basketball fans and sports fans in general are in for a real treat this month.   The World famous Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Mile One in St. John’s April 25th at seven o clock.   The Harlem Globetrotters started their operations in 1926 and have become masters of basketball wizardry and entertainment for fans of all ages.     The National Basketball League of Canada named its award winners for the regular season on Friday.   St. John’s Edge player and Patricks Cove Native Carl English came away with two league awards.   English was named the Most Valuable Player in the League and he was also named the Canadian Player of the Year.     The Executive of the year was Jeff Dunlap also of he St. John’s Edge. The team finished its first season with a 25-15 record.        …
