ENGLISH, DUNLAP WIN BASKETBALL AWARDS

The National Basketball League of Canada named its award winners for the regular season on Friday.

 

St. John’s Edge player and Patricks Cove Native Carl English came away with two league awards.

 

English was named the Most Valuable Player in the League and he was also named the Canadian Player of the Year.

 

 

The Executive of the year was Jeff Dunlap also of he St. John’s Edge. The team finished its first season with a 25-15 record.
