GROWLERS PLAYER NAMED ECHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

  Scott Pooley of the Newfoundland Growlers is the ECHL Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 26-Dec. 2. Pooley scored four goals in a pair of victories against Brampton last week. The 24-year-old recorded the second hat trick in Growlers’ team history in a 7-4 win on Saturday and added another tally in a 5-2 victory on Sunday. Pooley is tied for third among ECHL rookies with 10 goals and 20 points in 23 games this season. He made his pro debut last season with Toronto of the American Hockey League, posting one goal in five games.…
