EDGE SIGN ST. JOHN’S NATIVE FOR SEASON

   Noel Moffatt, a 6’5 190lb St. John’s native  has signed a 2019-2020 NBLC Player Contract with the St. John’s Edge.  Moffatt will be a second year pro after a stop with the Windsor Express.   Moffatt, the former two sport star at Gonzaga High School in St. John’s, played collegiately at Memorial University.  Over his five seasons with the Seahawks, Moffatt played in 86 games and had career averages of 5.4ppg and 7.7rpg.   S U N D A Y   Memorial women’s basketball team is now in first place in the standings. Sunday Memorial downed St F X 82-63 to improve to six wins and two losses and now have 16 points.
