The top 6 of 14 teams have advanced to quarter finals with the top two teams, Peddigrew and Symonds, earning a bye into the semi final round. All six teams earn a position in next years Super League as long as they retain 3 of 4 team members. ST JOHN’S, NL – Nathan Young’s team defeated Team Greg Smith to win the Newfoundland and Labrador Tankard and become the provincial champions on Sunday afternoon at the ReMax Centre in St John’s. Final score was 8-4 after 9 ends. The two teams were very evenly matched as the only loss Smith had all week was to Young.
