Trinity Placentia Flyers edged Southern Shore Breakers 5-4 in St. John’s Junior Hockey action Sunday.
JustinEdison and Ethan Salsman scored two goals each for the winners and a single was added by Michael Pittman,
Kieran O’Driscoll tallied twice for the Shore and Jesse Putt added a single.

Two games were played in the Mary Brown’s St. John’s Hockey League Saturday night.
The first place C-B-R Renegades used home ice advantage to double the visiting Trinity Placentia Flyers 6-3. They improve now to 11-1-2 on the season.
Tyler Nickson led the C-B-R Renegades offensive attack as he scored three times in this contest.
Nick Gosse, Tyler Wall and Brad Connors had the other markers for the Renegades.
Ethan Salsman, Jordan Pomeroy and Mitchell Lawlor replied for the Trinity Placentia Flyers

The St. John’s Caps improved to 7-4-1 on the season on Saturday night downing their rivals the Avalon Junior Capitals 6-2 at the Twin Rinks.
Kyle McGrath scored a pair of goals in this contest. He moved into a tie for first place in the league scoring race with Blake Fudge of CBR Renegades and each player has 26 points.
Dylan MacKenzie, Kristopher Thomas, Paul Norman and Michael Williams had the other goals for the winners.
MacKenzie Lewis and Ryan Fahey replied for the Capitals.

C-B-N Stars handed Mount Pearl Blades just their second loss in regulation time as the Stars doubled the Blades 4-2 at the Bay Roberts Arena Friday night.
Luke Akerman led the winners with two goals and singles were added by Mark Barrett and Braedon Carlson. Adam Nolan and Brady Normore replied for the Blades.

At the Kenny Williams Arena in Mobile, Southern Shore edge Northeast Eagles 5-4. A J Doyle, Cameron Forward, Logan Brothers, Brendan Houilhan and Riley Coady scored for the Shore.
Max French, Patrick Farrell, Kyle Rumsey and Brady Holwell replied for the Eagles.
