SHAMROCKS, HOLY CROSS, STORM WIN AS BASEBALL SEASON BEGINS

S A T U R D A Y

Shamrocks  Holy Cross and Storm picked up wins as the 2020 St. John’s senior baseball season started Saturday.

At St. Pats the Shamrocks the senior defending champs doubled Feildians 4-2. Scott Goosney gets the win and Alex Walsh takes the loss. Also at St. Pats Holy Cross edged Gonzaga 1-nothing as Sean Janes gets the win over Dan Connors.

 

At Smallwood field Storm downed Knights 13-3 in a game called after five innings by the league mercy rule.

 S U N D A Y

The Intermediate league will also start this weekend on Sunday.

At St Pats at 12:30 its Storm against the Generals at at 3:30 also at St. Pats Holy Cross go against Shamrocks.

At Smallwood at one o’clock Saturday Feildians will go against Knights.
