Teams from St. John’s and Feildians will represent the province at the Toyota National Club Championships over the Thanksgiving weekend. Provincial titles were decided this weekend as the NLSA Premier League held its championship weekend. In addition, teams from St. John’s, Feildians, CBS and the Burin Peninsula Soccer Association (BPSA) will represent the province at the inaugural U13 Atlantic club championships in late September.
In 2017, 37 teams from around the province participated in the NLSA Premier League with 750 players, and 263 games played.
U13
The U13 boys and girls tournament was held in CBS with teams from the Avalon Peninsula, Western, and the Burin Peninsula.
CBS won the U13 girls championship with a 3-0 victory over BPSA
Feildians Navy won the U13 boys championship with a 2-1 score over St. John’s
The gold and silver medallists will represent the province at the inaugural U13 Atlantic club tournament to be held in CBS in late September.
U15
The U15 boys and girls tournament was held in Corner Brook with teams from Western NL, the Avalon and Burin Peninsulas.

The boys and girls champions will represent the province at club nationals in Calgary, Alberta over Thanksgiving weekend.
U17
The U17 boys and girls tournament was held in St. John’s at King George V field with teams from CBS, Mount Pearl, Paradise and St. John’s.
St. John’s U17 girls defeated CBS in a best-of-three series and will represent the province at club nationals in Fredericton, New Brunswick over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Feildians defeated St. John’s in a penalty shoot-out following 30 minutes of overtime, after the teams were deadlocked 1-1 in regulation time. The boys’ national tournament will also be held in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
