Memorial Sea-Hawks head coach Mark English has been chosen by his peers as the recipient of the Dr. Carolyn Savoy Memorial Award for AUS coach of the year for the first time in his career. In his fifth season at the help of the program, Coach English led the Sea-Hawks to a 13-7 regular season record and a third-place finish in the AUS standings. The Memorial’s Cole Long was named to the second all-star team.   The Growlers are off until Friday when they play Florida Everblades but there have been some moves within the ranks. Maksim Zukov has been reactivated from the reserve list. Goaltender Parker Gahagen has been recalled by the AHL Toronto Marlies. And the Marlies have reassigned forward Colt Conrad to the Growlers.  Also the Edmonton Oilers have acquired goalie Angus Redmond from the Growlers and a conditional 2022 7th round pick from Anaheim for defenseman Joel Persson.
