SHAMROCK PLAYERS LEAD BOTH BASEBALL LEAGUES IN STOLEN BASES

  Shamrock players led the senior and intermediate baseball leagues in stolen bases this past season. In the Senior loop  Dylan MacKenzie led the league with 15 stolen bases. Eric McKay of Gonzaga was second with eight and Greg Barry of Shamrocks third with six. In Intermediate Steven Abbott of the Shamrocks  stole 21 bases this past season. In second place was John Cribb of Holy Cross with 15.. Nick Evans of Holy Cross and Brady Walsh of Knights tied for third place with 13 stolen bases each. …

BARRON WINS INTERMEDIATE BASEBALL BATTING TITLE

  The St. John’s Intermediate batting champ for the 2020 season is Declan Barron of Holy Cross. Barron had a .487 batting average from 19 hits in 39 at bats in the league this year.  Alex Curtis of Shamrocks finished second in the batting race, He had 20 hits in 53 at bats for a .476 average. Steve Rideout of the Storm was third with 22 hits in 47 at bats for his .468 average. Evan Reid of Holy Cross was fourth with a .462 batting average. He hit safely 18 time in 39 at bats. …
