    The St. John’s Caps scored five goals in the second period and added three in the third to beat Conception Bay CeeBee Stars 8-2 in Avalon East senior hockey play. Justin O’Rielly and Lucas Deering scored two goals each for the winners. Mike Druken, Robert Barrett, Jeremy Dixon and Jon Caul added singles. Cody Noseworthy and Tommy Snow replied for the CeeBee Stars.        S U N D A Y    Three games played Sunday in St. John’s Junior Hockey. Mount Pearl Blades get five goals from five different players and defeat C-B-R Renegades 5-1. The Renegades were up 1-nothing after the first and Mount Pearl came back for a 2-1 lead after two periods.   The St. John’s Ice Caps finished their six game road trip on a winning note Saturday. They were down 3-nothing to the Hershey Bears and win in a shootout. It was Daniel Carr’s goal 17:04 of the third period that forced the game into overtime. The extra session settled nothing.
