    Corner Brook Barons had a successful weekend at the 2nd annual Bluebird Investments Grand Falls Windsor Braves Female Classic‎. The U12 AAA girls team had a perfect 4-0 round robin record setting up a rematch with St. John’s in the final with the Barons recording a 7-4 victory. Highlights for the Barons were Lauren Chaulk hitting an inside the park Home run. Moments after the Barons recorded a 6-4-3 double play. Katie Colbourne was the most sportsmanlike. LAMBS RUN WIN HARBOUR GRACE REGATTA

      The 154th Harbour Grace Regatta was held Saturday at Lady Lake.   Lambs Rum of St. John’s claimed the men’s championship as they rowed the course in 10:45.87. The Lambs Rum crew also won the Placentia Regatta title.  Harbour Grace Ocean Enterprises Juvenile men were second in 11:31:34. Wade’s Excavating of St. John’s were third in 11:33:56 and Restwell of Harbour Grace fourth in 13:08:56   Dawe and Burke Barristers of St John’s claimed the ladies title.
