Lots of familiar faces in Newfoundland curling as well as the new young guns. It kicked off on October 8 and  expected to go well into March with the finals with a record number of teams this year. GANDER, NL – Baseball Newfoundland and Labrador held its Workshops and Annual General Meeting from November 15th – 17th at Sinbads Hotel in Gander. Registration numbers once again increased, with nearly 4,000 players province-wide playing baseball in 2024. Female baseball once again maintains a strong place in the province, with 20% of registration coming from female baseball players. The growth of the female game, coupled with the 2025 Canada Summer Games and female baseball’s inclusion for the first time, will be exciting for the continued growth and development moving into the future.
