MELINDY SUSPENDED FOR EIGHT GAMES

Newfoundland Growlers defenseman James Melindy has been suspended for eight games by the ECHL.

Melindy is fined and suspended under Rule 28 Supplementary Discipline as a result of an incident in On February 15th in a game against Maine at Mile One.

He is eligible to return to the Growlers lineup on March 6th
