1 min read

The Newfoundland Growlers have lost one of their best scorers.

Aaron Luchuk was traded by the Toronto Maple Leafs, the parent club of the Newfoundland Growlers to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Max Veronneau and a conditional sixth round pick in 2021 to the Senators.

The 22 year old Luchuk is returning to the Senators after originally signing a three year entry level contract with Ottawa in 2017.  He has played 45 games with the Growlers and has 50 points from 19 goals and 31 assists.
