The Maple Leafs made it a weekend sweep with an 11-2 win over Tri Pen Osprey Sunday.
Kyle McGrath had a five point performance with two goals and three assists. Dylan MacKenzie Cody Langmean, James Locke and Danny Rice all had two goals apiece.Nathan Kenny added a single marker. Ryan Williams and Mason Oates scored for the Osprey.
The St Johns Maple Leafs defeated the Tri Pen Osprey 4-1 in Major Midget Hockey League play Saturday night.
Dylan MacKenzie had a pair of tallies for the winners. James Locke and Kyle McGrath scored single markers for the winners.
Cameron Simms and Luke House replied for the Osprey.
The teams play ten o clock Sunday at the Glacier.
Meanwhile The St. John’s Privateers and Western Kings split their weekend series.
The Kings win 4-3 on Saturday. Robert Hicks, Lucas Reid, Jalen Gillard and Abrain Ward scored for the Kings. Bradley Connors, Adam Nolan and Matthew O’Leary scored for the Privateers.
Sunday The Privateers get a split with a 7-4 win. Jack Keough paced the winners with a pair of goals. David Penney, Bradley Connors, Max French, Stephen Mallard and Chris Murphy with singles.
Gillard, Robert Hicks, George Young and Brayden Ryan scored for the Kings.
